Yanbu - Medina Water Transmission System

The project is designed to convey desalinated water from Yanbu to Medina and some locations in between, with a capacity of 363,000 m3/day. Yüksel is performing the civil works of the project such as trenching and backfilling for steel pipes which has a total length of 200 km, valve chambers, road crossings by thrustboring, foundations of steel tank(4x140,000 m3), in addition to construction of station buildings, concrete reservoirs(12x50,000 m3, 1x35,000 m3, 2x25,000 m3, 1x5000 m3) and housing compound having approximately 40,000 m2 covered area.
